Konsert sulung “Gaana King” Deva di Johor, 9 Ogos depan

KUALA LUMPUR: Legenda muzik India Selatan, Deva atau lebih dikenali dengan julukan “Gaana King”, bakal membuat penampilan sulungnya di Johor pada 9 Ogos depan menerusi konsert mega di Kompleks Sukan Educity, Iskandar Puteri.

Dibawakan oleh SSPS Production dengan kerjasama iGP Production, konsert yang diijadualkan bermula 5 petang itu menjanjikan malam penuh nostalgia dan persembahan bertenaga buat para peminat Deva, seorang komposer veteran yang terkenal dengan lagu dan muzik latar filem-filem India Selatan.

Barisan artis yang bakal memeriahkan pentas termasuk penyanyi terkenal India seperti Mano, Anuradha Sriram, Sabesh-Murali dan Srikanth Deva, selain turut menampilkan bakat baharu Ajay Krishna dan Priyanka.

Pihak penganjur dalam satu kenyataan, berkata konsert itu merupakan penghargaan terhadap kerjaya cemerlang Deva serta muzik malar hijau beliau yang terus menyatukan pendengar daripada pelbagai lapisan usia.

Pengarah iGP Production Ezra Hari berkata konsert itu bukan sekadar pelancaran tetapi juga penanda aras penting dalam mengubah landskap hiburan secara langsung di Malaysia.

Beliau turut menjanjikan pengalaman yang tidak akan dapat dilupakan oleh penonton dari Malaysia dan Singapura.

Deva, antara komposer muzik paling ikonik dalam sinema Tamil, amat disanjung oleh peminat era 90-an kerana mempopularkan genre gaana, iaitu sejenis muzik rakyat komuniti Tamil yang berentak pantas, melalui lagu-lagu hit satu demi satu yang terus diminati hingga kini.
