Polis temukan peranti IED, dadah dalam kereta terbalik selepas dikejar

KUALA LUMPUR: Polis menemukan peranti bahan letupan buatan sendiri (IED) dan pelbagai jenis dadah di dalam sebuah kereta yang terbalik selepas dikejar sejauh kira-kira 25 kilometer (km) apabila cuba melarikan daripada pemeriksaan polis awal pagi tadi.

Ketua Polis Daerah Serdang ACP Muhamad Farid Ahmad berkata dalam kejadian di Jalan Suakasih di Serdang pada 3.30 pagi itu, anggota Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah (IPD) Serdang mahu memeriksa sebuah kereta Honda Civic dinaiki tiga lelaki dalam satu sekatan jalan raya, namun kenderaan itu bertindak memecut laju ke arah Seri Kembangan.

“Polis mengejar kereta itu hingga ke persimpangan Jalan Suakasih susur keluar ke Lebuhraya Lingkaran Penyuraian Trafik Kajang (SILK) dan kereta suspek telah hilang kawalan dan melanggar pembahagi jalan di KM5.1 menyebabkannya terbalik di tengah jalan,” katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.

Beliau berkata berikutan itu, tiga lelaki berusia antara 40 hingga 51 tahun telah ditahan dan dibawa ke Hospital Sultan Idris Shah, Serdang kerana mengalami kecederaan.

Pemeriksaan lanjut terhadap kereta itu menemukan pelbagai dadah termasuk kokain seberat 77.10 gram, ganja (49.28 gram), serbuk ekstasi atau MDMA (54.07 gram), ketamin (30.18 gram), pil yaba (3.20 gram), pil ekstasi (3.40 gram) dan pil eramin 5 (0.98 gram).

“Selain itu, polis turut menjumpai satu objek berwarna kelabu berbalut plastik lut sinar berisi komponen besi dan skru bersama satu gulung wayar serta satu unit bateri motosikal yang disyaki peranti IED,” katanya.

Muhamad Farid berkata dua daripada lelaki berkenaan mempunyai 43 rekod lampau berkaitan jenayah dan narkotik, manakala seorang lagi dikehendaki polis di bawah Seksyen 15(1)(a) Akta Dadah Berbahaya 1952.

Kes berkenaan katanya disiasat mengikut Seksyen 186 Kanun Keseksaan dan ketiga-tiga lelaki itu telah diserahkan kepada pihak IPD Kajang untuk siasatan lanjut mengikut Seksyen 39B Akta Dadah Berbahaya 1952 dan Seksyen 3 Akta Bahan Kakisan dan Letupan Senjata Berbahaya 1958.
