Lebih 50 tong asid hidroklorik terbakar bersama sampah di Kuala Selangor

Operasi bomba dan HAZMAT dijalankan selepas lebih 50 tong asid hidroklorik terbakar bersama longgokan sampah di Kampung Sentosa, Kuala Selangor

KUALA SELANGOR: Lebih 50 tong mengandungi asid hidroklorik dianggarkan terbakar bersama longgokan sampah di sebuah kawasan di Jalan Ijok hari ini.

Kejadian di Batu 23, Kampung Sentosa itu dilaporkan kepada Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia (JBPM) Selangor pada jam 2.08 petang.

Pengarah JBPM Selangor Datuk Wan Md Razali Wan Ismail berkata 14 pegawai dan anggota dari tiga balai bomba digerakkan ke lokasi.

Operasi pemadaman turut melibatkan Pasukan Khas Bahan Kimia Berbahaya (HAZMAT) dari Balai Bomba dan Penyelamat (BBP) Rawang.

Beliau berkata kebakaran itu membabitkan longgokan sampah dianggarkan berkeluasan 13.9×4.6 meter persegi.

Lebih 50 tong berkapasiti 200 liter yang mengandungi asid hidroklorik turut terlibat dalam kebakaran tersebut.
