An 83-year-old man died after falling into a ditch in Pekan Sungang Dulang, Hutan Melintang, with his body recovered by fire and rescue personnel.
IPOH: An 83-year-old man drowned after falling into a ditch in Pekan Sungai Dulang near Hutan Melintang.
The Perak Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) received a distress call at 9.42 am.
Acting deputy director of operations Shazlean Mohd Hanafiah said members of the public had already pulled the victim to the side of the ditch.
Ministry of Health personnel later pronounced the man dead at the scene.
His body was subsequently handed over to the police for further action.
