A three-year-old boy was killed in a fire that engulfed three houses in Kampung Seri Cheeding, Banting, early this morning.
KG SERI CHEEDING: A three-year-old boy was killed in a fire that engulfed three houses in Kampung Seri Cheeding, Banting, early this morning.
The Selangor Fire and Rescue Department was alerted to the incident at 2.44 am.
A team of 17 personnel arrived at the scene within 12 minutes.

Initial information indicated the child was trapped inside one of the houses.
Firefighting and rescue efforts were carried out urgently, according to the department’s assistant director of Operations, Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar.
The blaze was brought under control around 3.30 am.
The child’s body was later found badly burned.
Personnel from the Teluk Panglima Garang, Banting, and Kuala Lumpur International Airport fire stations assisted in the operations. – Bernama
