Liga Super: JDT tundukkan Selangor 3-0 di Stadium MBPJ

PETALING JAYA: Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) terus mengukuhkan cengkaman di persada liga selepas menundukkan seteru utama Selangor FC 3-0 dalam perlawanan Liga Super 2024/2025 di Stadium Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ), Kelana Jaya di sini pada malam Ahad (Okt 27).

Skuad Harimau Selatan yang bertandang ke tempat lawan kini mengumpul 34 mata terus selesa melebarkan jurang lapan mata dengan Gergasi Merah yang mengumpul 26 mata di kedudukan kedua liga.

Memulakan babak pertama, anak buah Hector Bidoglio mengatur gerak aggresif serta melakukan cubaan demi cubaan bagi memecah kebuntuan gol.

Asakan bertali arus JDT membuahkan hasil apabila Romel Morales menanduk kemas sepakan percuma Juan Muniz sekali gus menewaskan penjaga gol Selangor Muhammad Azim Al Amin Kamaruddin pada minit ke-30.

Kelincahan Arif Aiman Mohd Hanapi dalam menggelecek kemudian menjadi duri dalam daging buat Selangor apabila leretan kemas ke dalam kotak penalti dilakukannya menemui kaki rakan sepasukan Bergson da Silva untuk jaringan kedua JDT pada minit ke-44.

Babak kedua, Selangor kendalian Mohd Nizdam Jamil terus berduka apabila JDT mencetak gol ketiga pada minit ke-54 menerusi sepakan penalti Bergson selepas Mohammad Abualnadi menjatuhkan Arif Aiman.

Selangor cuba mencari gol sulung namun setiap cubaan mudah dipatahkan pertahanan JDT dan keputusan kekal sehingga wisel penamat ditiup.

Untuk rekod, pertemuan kali terakhir kedua-dua pasukan ini adalah pada final Piala FA Ogos lepas, menyaksikan JDT membelasah Selangor 6-1.
