Lebih 10,000 pemohon terima rebat MARiiCAS setakat 8 Oktober

KUALA LUMPUR: Seramai 10,600 pemohon berjaya menerima rebat di bawah Program Skim Galakan Penggunaan Motosikal Elektrik (MARiiCAS) setakat 8 Oktober lalu.

Jumlah ini mewakili 87.2 peratus daripada sasaran keseluruhan pemohon yang ditetapkan untuk program tersebut.

Setiap pemohon yang berjaya menerima rebat sebanyak RM2,400 untuk pembelian motosikal elektrik mereka.

Peruntukan kerajaan yang telah digunakan untuk rebat ini berjumlah RM26.10 juta.

Sebanyak 19 model motosikal elektrik ditawarkan kepada 3,582 pembeli yang berjaya pada tahun 2024.

Manakala 28 model motosikal elektrik telah ditawarkan kepada 7,018 pembeli berjaya bagi tahun 2025 sehingga 1 September.

Peningkatan hampir 100 peratus dalam bilangan pembeli antara kedua-dua tahun ini menunjukkan sambutan yang amat menggalakkan.

Kementerian Kewangan kini sedang mempertimbangkan untuk melanjutkan program ini di bawah Belanjawan 2026.

Program MARiiCAS telah diluluskan di bawah Belanjawan 2024 dan dilanjutkan pelaksanaannya sehingga tahun 2025.

Program ini menyasarkan seramai 12,155 rakyat Malaysia untuk menerima manfaat rebat pembelian motosikal elektrik.

Peruntukan keseluruhan sebanyak RM29,172,000 telah disediakan untuk program ini.

Skim ini terbuka kepada warganegara Malaysia yang berpendapatan tahunan di bawah RM120,000.

Pelajar dan pesara yang memiliki lesen memandu motosikal yang sah juga layak menyertai program ini.

Pemohon perlu mendaftar akaun MARiiCAS terlebih dahulu sebelum membuat permohonan pembelian.

Kegagalan menuntut rebat biasanya disebabkan oleh ketidakpatuhan syarat kelayakan pendapatan atau pemilikan lesen. – Bernama
