Rapid KL closes several stations temporarily for ASEAN Summit security

KUALA LUMPUR: Several Rapid KL stations will be temporarily closed today due to security reasons in conjunction with the 47th ASEAN Summit.

The closures affect stations on the Kelana Jaya, Putrajaya and Kajang routes from 4 pm to 6 pm.

For the Kelana Jaya route, the stations involved are Ampang Park and KLCC.

Conlay, Persiaran KLCC and Ampang Park stations on the Putrajaya route are also affected.

Only Bukit Bintang station is involved for the Kajang route.

Alternatively, users can use the Monorail service at Bukit Nanas, Raja Chulan and Bukit Bintang stations.

Passengers can also use the Kelana Jaya Line at Kampung Baru Station via Saloma Bridge.

Other stations not involved will operate as usual according to the daily operating schedule.

Bus services for the T407 route are also affected and cannot operate temporarily due to road closures.

Bus operations will resume once the road reopens.

Rapid KL advises users to plan their journeys in advance.
