PM Anwar extends aid to single mother in Semambu through Ziarah MADANI

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim provides cash and food assistance to single mother Wong Kim Keow in Pahang to ease her family’s burden.

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has extended aid to single mother Wong Kim Keow in Semambu, Pahang, to help ease her family’s burden.

The contribution comprising cash and a food basket was delivered by the Prime Minister’s Political Secretary Datuk Ahmad Farhan Fauzi through the Ziarah MADANI programme.

Ahmad Farhan revealed that behind Wong’s calm face lies the story of a woman’s struggle who has never given up despite facing continuous life challenges.

He stated that on behalf of the Prime Minister, he extended cash assistance and a food basket to help lessen her family’s burden.

Ahmad Farhan emphasised that more importantly, the assistance is about sharing compassion and moral support so that she knows she is not alone in this struggle.

He shared these sentiments in a Facebook post today which was also shared by Anwar.

Ahmad Farhan explained that the spirit of Ziarah MADANI is not only about reaching out to those in need but also about rekindling hope so they remain steadfast in facing life’s trials. – Bernama
