The Ministry of Defence has formally appointed Global Exhibitions & Conferences to promote the 2027 Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition.
KUALA LUMPUR: The Ministry of Defence has formally appointed the promoter for the next Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition.
Defence Ministry secretary-general Datuk Lokman Hakim Ali handed over the letter of acceptance to Global Exhibitions & Conferences Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Abd Hafiz A Bakar.
The handover was witnessed by Defence Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin at the DSA and NATSEC Asia 2026 exhibition.
MINDEF and GEC will jointly organise the 18th edition of the exhibition under the theme “Sustainable Vision Across Sea, Sky & Space.”
The event will be held from April 20 to 24, 2027.
The aerospace segment will take place at the Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre with the maritime segment at Resorts World Langkawi.
MINDEF said the “Road to LIMA 2027” initiative is a strategic move to build early momentum for the globally influential exhibition.
It will also serve as an engagement platform for delegates at the ongoing DSA and NATSEC Asia 2026 exhibition.
The four-day DSA and NATSEC Asia 2026 event opened today.
