THE complete list of nations qualified for the expanded 48-team 2026 FIFA World Cup has been confirmed as of Sunday.
Host nations Canada, Mexico and the United States automatically secured their tournament berths.
African qualifiers include Algeria, Cape Verde, Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Morocco, Senegal, South Africa and Tunisia.
Asian Confederation representatives comprise Australia, Iran, Japan, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and Uzbekistan.
European nations Croatia, England, France, Norway and Portugal have all booked their places at the global tournament.
Oceania’s sole representative will be New Zealand following their qualification success.
South American qualifiers feature Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay and Uruguay.
The 2026 edition marks the first World Cup featuring 48 teams following FIFA’s expansion decision.
Tournament matches will be staged across all three North American host nations.
