WHAT was initially expected to be a moment of dread quickly turned into joy when a university student on the Dean’s List discovered a handwritten congratulatory note from a complete stranger on her car windshield.
@fnieyyy shared on Threads that she had stopped by a restaurant for a meal as a little self-reward after achieving Dean’s List recognition. However, when she returned to her parked car, she spotted a piece of paper tucked under the windshield and immediately feared it was a parking ticket.
“Ya Allah, how cute! Earlier, I stopped by to eat Gepuk Jogja as a little self-reward.
“When I came out of the restaurant, I noticed what I thought was a parking ticket on my car. I didn’t expect someone had written this instead. Thank you, kind stranger! May every traffic light turn green for you.”

The heartwarming post quickly went viral, eventually catching the attention of the mystery stranger behind the thoughtful gesture.
The person who left the note later revealed themselves in the comments, explaining that they had parked beside @fnieyyy’s car and decided to leave an encouraging message after spotting her Dean’s List certificate.
“Hi! I’m the one who wrote the note earlier. It just so happened that we parked next to your car. My younger sibling worked hard looking for paper and a pen so I could write it.
“Even the uncle standing beside your car thought it was a parking ticket. Sorry for making you panic!
“Anyway, congratulations again from us!”
