Selangor Halalvibe Fest 2025 at Stadium Shah Alam targets RM3 million in sales, featuring 300 booths and initiatives to boost the halal industry.
SHAH ALAM: The Selangor Halalvibe Fest 2025 has set a sales target of RM3 million during its four-day run at Dataran Karnival, Stadium Shah Alam.
State Islamic Religious and Innovation Culture Committee chairman Dr Mohammad Fahmi Ngah said the festival features nearly 300 booths from halal food, beverage, and service-based enterprises.
He described the event as an excellent platform to showcase halal and halal-certified products from Selangor.
“The Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor, Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin, is expected to grace the event this Sunday,” he told reporters after officiating the event.
Mohammad Fahmi revealed that Selangor hosts approximately 70% of all halal-certified companies in Malaysia.
The state government is implementing several measures to strengthen the halal industry ecosystem, including identifying halal warehouses and logistics hubs.
“We guarantee that first-time products undergoing halal certification will take no more than 30 days, or the fees will be refunded,” he said.
The state plans to explore collaboration with a leading digital platform to launch a digital Selangor Halal Store next year.
The festival also includes a Halal Certification Seminar, business matching sessions, and pitching activities for entrepreneurs.
Three memoranda of understanding were signed between Halal International Selangor and Yayasan Hijrah Selangor, Universiti Selangor, and Vital Life Solutions Sdn Bhd.
The agreement with Yayasan Hijrah Selangor includes implementing a Halal Certification Financing Package for entrepreneurs.
The collaboration with Universiti Selangor focuses on developing halal human capital through joint training and research.
Halal International Selangor will serve as the exclusive strategic partner for Vital Life Solutions Sdn Bhd in international markets.
