Zambry hargai lanjutan pelantikan senator, tekad terus pacu agenda pendidikan tinggi

Menteri Pendidikan Tinggi hargai lanjutan pelantikan sebagai senator, tekad teruskan agenda pembangunan pendidikan tinggi negara

PUTRAJAYA: Menteri Pendidikan Tinggi Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir merakamkan penghargaan kepada kerajaan atas pelantikan semula sebagai senator.

Beliau berkata pelantikan itu membolehkannya meneruskan agenda pembangunan pendidikan tinggi negara.

“Saya mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Yang Amat Berhormat Perdana Menteri (Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim) kerana melanjutkan tugas saya sebagai menteri dan juga senator untuk meneruskan agenda yang telah digariskan,“ katanya kepada pemberita selepas menghadiri Majlis Apresiasi Festival Idea Putrajaya 2025.

Zambry juga mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Pengerusi Barisan Nasional Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi atas pencalonannya.

Beliau berkata demikian mengulas upacara angkat sumpah sebagai Ahli Dewan Negara bagi penggal kedua.

Upacara itu menamatkan spekulasi mengenai status beliau bersama dua lagi menteri selepas tempoh penggal pertama mereka berakhir.

Selain Zambry, turut mengangkat sumpah Menteri Dalam Negeri Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail dan Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri (Hal Ehwal Agama) Datuk Dr Mohd Na’im Mokhtar.

Ditanya mengenai portfolio dalam Kabinet, Zambry berkata beliau akan terus melaksanakan tanggungjawab sedia ada.

Dalam kenyataan berasingan, Perdana Menteri berkata pelantikan ketiga-tiga menteri membolehkan mereka meneruskan tugasan mustahak demi kesinambungan dasar dan agenda reformasi negara.

Sementara itu mengenai Festival Idea Putrajaya, Zambry berkata penganjuran edisi kedua mencatat sejarah tersendiri.

Program itu menerima pengiktirafan Malaysia Book of Records sebagai acara akademik terbesar negara.

Beliau berkata program itu turut diangkat sebagai program peringkat ASEAN dengan penyertaan menteri dari Indonesia dan Filipina.

Menurut beliau, keseluruhan penganjuran meraih kira-kira 500,000 pengunjung secara fizikal dan 1.4 juta peserta dalam talian.
