JOHOR BAHRU: Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) has expressed gratitude to Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi for his ongoing dedication to higher education and public welfare.

UTM also welcomed the strengthening of the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone partnership through the Johor Talent Development Skills Centre.

The university stated this collaboration opens major opportunities for talent development, high-impact research, and technological innovation.

Support for the Bangsa Johor Bahagia pilot projects, which focus on community well-being through education and social engagement, was also acknowledged.

“We are fully committed to leading in academia to support Johor’s economic agenda through our expertise and strategic research,” UTM said in a statement.

The university pledged to continue contributing through studies, specialised knowledge, and community empowerment programmes for Johor’s people.
