New ministers pledge commitment after Anwar’s cabinet reshuffle

Ministers and deputies appointed in Malaysia’s cabinet reshuffle vow to fulfil their mandates with dedication and integrity for national development.

KUALA LUMPUR: Cabinet members have pledged to fulfil their responsibilities following a reshuffle of the Unity Government.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced the changes today, with both existing and newly appointed ministers expressing their commitment.

Datuk Seri R Ramanan, appointed Minister of Human Resources, called it a major responsibility to strengthen workforce development.

“I would like to express my highest appreciation and gratitude to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim for the trust placed in me,” he said in a statement.

Ramanan, the former Deputy Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister, vowed to serve with full dedication.

Sim Tze Tzin pledged to work closely with his minister after being appointed Deputy Investment, Trade and Industry Minister.

The Bayan Baru MP committed to carrying out his duties with trustworthiness and integrity for the country’s benefit.

“I wish to express my highest appreciation and gratitude for the trust of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and PKR in me,” he posted on Facebook.

Deputy Health Minister Datuk Hanifah Hajar Taib also thanked the leadership for their continued trust.

She moved from her previous role as Deputy Economic Affairs Minister in the reshuffle.

Hanifah Hajar said she is committed to her new mandate for the wellbeing of the people and nation.

She aims to align her work with the MADANI Government’s principles of justice and sustainability.

Newly appointed Deputy Youth and Sports Minister Mordi Bimol pledged to serve youth and sports development.

The Mas Gading MP said his initial focus is understanding the ministry’s roles and supporting grassroots efforts.

“My experience as an elected representative, especially in rural constituencies, will serve as guidance,” he stated.
