Sultan Ibrahim advises ministers to focus on public well-being, stability, and economic prosperity, emphasising integrity and teamwork in governance.
KUALA LUMPUR: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, has advised the Cabinet to execute their duties with full integrity while prioritising the people’s interests.
The King stated the government must focus on public well-being, national stability, and economic prosperity in line with good governance principles.
Sultan Ibrahim also stressed the critical importance of teamwork among ministers to ensure efficient and effective national administration.
“Ministers and Deputy Ministers must always be on the field to listen to the voices of the people,” His Majesty told the Royal Press Office.
“You must carry out the responsibilities entrusted with full dedication and a high level of commitment.”
The advice was delivered following the presentation of appointment letters at Istana Negara.
The ceremony included the taking of oaths of office, allegiance, and secrecy by federal ministers and deputy ministers.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof also attended the event.
