Flood victims in Melaka, Pahang and Johor rise to 292, with two rivers in Segamat exceeding danger levels and one road closed.
KUALA LUMPUR: The flood situation in Melaka, Pahang and Johor remains largely unchanged this morning.
The total number of victims at temporary evacuation centres has increased slightly to 292 from 256 last night.
In Melaka, the State Disaster Management Committee Secretariat reported 36 victims from eight families.

These victims are sheltered at the Sekolah Kebangsaan Parit Penghulu centre, up from 34 people last night.
In Pahang, the Social Welfare Department’s InfoBencana portal noted a similar increase in Rompin.
Flood victims there rose to 84 people from 23 families, compared to 49 from 13 families previously.
They are currently placed at the Kampung Setajam evacuation centre.
Johor recorded a slight decrease in its flood victim count.
A total of 172 people from 58 families are now at seven centres in Segamat, down from 173 yesterday.
State Disaster Management Committee chairman Datuk Asman Shah Abd Rahman said two rivers in Segamat have exceeded danger levels.
Sungai Muar in Buloh Kasap recorded a reading of 8.89 metres, while Jeti Sungai Tekam measured 4.13 metres.
Both rivers are showing an upward trend.
One road remains completely closed to all vehicles due to a slope collapse.
