Puspahanas president Vice Admiral Datk Sabri Zali will take legal action over defamatory claims, filing police reports against the allegations.
PUTRAJAYA: National Defence Education Centre (Puspahanas) president Vice Admiral Datuk Sabri Zali will take legal action against any party publishing defamatory statements about him.
His legal advisor, Muhammad Firdaus Jumaludin, stated the action includes Port Dickson Bersatu division chief Badrul Hisham Shaharin, known as Chegu Bard.
Muhammad Firdaus said Chegu Bard made untrue, misleading and seriously defamatory allegations against Sabri.

He added that all allegations, including shared photos and documents on social media, remain unverified.
“Since the source cannot be ascertained, we are handing over this matter to the proper legal process,” he said at a press conference.
Muhammad Firdaus confirmed Sabri has filed a police report regarding the allegations.
He stated several more follow-up reports will be submitted later.
“A police report has indeed been filed and several more follow-up reports will be filed by Datuk Sabri,” he said.
He explained the matter dates back to August 2024, not just recent weeks.
Commenting on the impact, Muhammad Firdaus said the damage requires legal intervention.
He noted the allegations are widely spread on various social media platforms.
“The seriousness of this damage is not only at the institutional level, but has also involved family and friends,” he said.
On December 31, Chegu Bard questioned a senior military officer’s retention despite alleged corruption case links. – Bernama
