MACC is tracing Megat Khairul Anuar Sulaiman, 40, who failed to appear at the Ipoh High Court for four case appeal mentions.
PUTRAJAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is tracing Megat Khairul Anuar Sulaiman, 40, in connection with the fifth mention of a case appeal at the Ipoh High Court in Perak next Monday.
In a statement today, the MACC said the local man, who was charged under Section 17(a) of the MACC Act 2009, could not be contacted.
Efforts to locate him have been made at his last two known addresses, namely Batu 22½, Jalan Bagan Datoh, 36200 Selekoh, Perak and Lot 841, Kampung Bunut Payong, 15150 Kota Bharu, Kelantan.
“This wanted individual has failed to appear at the Ipoh High Court for four case appeal mentions held in January, April, May and June, and a warrant of arrest was issued against him on June 8, 2026.
“Members of the public with information on his whereabouts are urged to contact investigating officer Hadijah Mohamad Shapiee at 011-37863375 or 05-526 0000 (Perak MACC Office) or via email at [email protected],” it said.
