OVER 32 years ago, in 1982 in Ipoh, Perak, Datuk Beh Chun Chuan and his wife Datin Poh Lay See founded the BP Healthcare Group. What began as a health diagnostic centre has grown into a mega corporation with inter-linked entities providing services covering various aspects of healthcare.

Today, the BP Healthcare Group includes BP Diagnostic Centre, BP Clinical Lab, BP Business Solutions, BP Food Testing, BP Industrial Training, BP Ambulatory, BP Hearing Solutions, Labpro, BE-P Pharmacy and BP Specialist Centre & Dental. From the initial entity, vision and commitment has empowered the company to expand its range of services and pursue innovative technological investments to reach its current status as the most comprehensive medical and clinical service provider in Malaysia.

For two consecutive years, BP Healthcare Group has won the prestigious Frost & Sullivan Excellence Award for Malaysia Health Screening Company of the Year. In 2010, it also bagged the Customer Value Enhancement Award in Diagnostics. In 2014, the group managing director Datuk Chevy Beh (pix) received the second consecutive health screening company of the year award on behalf of BP.

Recipients of the Frost & Sullivan award are assessed according to revenue market share, capabilities and overall contribution to the industry, particularly acknowledging best practices.BP Healthcare is also the first medical laboratory in Asia to receive accreditation by the United States-based Joint Commission
International, a global leader in accrediting healthcare organisations. The plethora of other awards, achievements and accolades, which BP Healthcare has won thus far, serves as a testament for the pride and commitment to the company, exhibited by both employees and management.

The group’s operational headquarters is located in Glenmarie, Shah Alam while its corporate head office is in Ipoh, Perak.
