JAPAN’S clothing retail giant, Uniqlo, recently announced an addition of seven new stores to its stable of nationwide outlets. Official openings of these stores will run from September right up to November this year. Uniqlo Malaysia currently has over 25 stores in the region. These are located within the Klang Valley, Johor, Malacca, Pahang and Penang.
The locations of the seven new stores are in line with the company’s plans to extend its reach across the nation, right up to East Malaysia. With that, the soon-to-be launched stores will be located at The Curve (KL), Aeon Klebang (Perak), Aman Sentral (Kedah), Imago KK Times Square (Sabah), Suria Sabah (Sabah), The Spring Mall (Sarawak) and Vivacity Megamall (Sarawak). The four stores in East Malaysia mark the retail giant’s first ever entry into that part of the country.
GROWING MARKET REACH
“We are excited about the upcoming store openings as it means more Malaysians will be able to purchase and experience our product offerings. We remain committed to providing the best shopping experience and aim to make our innovative products such as AIRism and Heattech more accessible to the communities in these locations,” said Uniqlo Malaysia co-COO Jocelyn Ng.
Providing comfortable, stylish and high quality clothing at affordable prices, Uniqlo Malaysia is dedicated to creating value to enrich the lives of people everywhere.
The brand recently collaboratedwith UK-born designer Hana Tajima and launched a collection of inaugural modest wear that is suitable to the market here in Malaysia. Visit the brand website for more information.
