La Juiceria marks one-year anniversary

BESIDES business and profit-making, La Juiceria also aims to lead Malaysians towards a healthier path.
Realising the lack of conscious among Malaysians in having fruits and vegetables as part of their daily diet, La Juiceria, the cold-pressed juice producer, formulated a way for consumers to take their necessary daily fibres in a more consumable and acceptable way.
Their solution: putting a basket of fruits and vegetables in a bottle.
La Juiceria founder and managing director Anabelle Co-Martinent said the whole aim the business was set up was to make Malaysians healthier in an enjoyable way.
"Our country is blessed with various delicacies, but vegetables and fruits have rarely been part of our food culture," she said.
"We need to have our consumption of fibre on a daily basis. Therefore, if you can't eat it, drink it," she told theSun in an interview to commemorate La Juiceria's one-year anniversary at its outlet in Pavilion Shopping Mall here.
She said the nutrients in a bottle of La Juiceria drink is equivalent to a basket of fruits and vegetables.
"It would be impossible for people to consume such amounts instantly. However, our products are formulated so that you can have all of the nutrients needed without forcing yourself.
"These are the things that you will never eat much. Maybe in cooking, but never in its raw form. Our product is literally salad in a bottle," she added.
After being in the industry for a year, Anabelle said the feedback received from customers has been overwhelming.
This success is evident as La Juiceria now operates 11 outlets in strategic locations in Klang Valley, with the latest opened in IOI City Mall this month.
"We hope to open another two outlets by year end. We expect to see more outlets established next year as part of our future plans," she said.
Annabelle said those who are interested to learn more about the products can go to www.lajuiceria.com.my, or follow them on Facebook (La Juiceria) and Instagram (@lajuiceria).
