Syabas reminds consumers to pay outstanding water bill

KUALA LUMPUR: Settle your outstanding bill or risk having your water supply cut off, said Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas).
In a statement today, it said operations to disconnet water-supply will be conducted on consumers with outstanding bills in several districts here.
The operations will begin today for consumers in the Petaling, Kuala Lumpur, Hulu Selangor, Sabak Bernam, Sepang, Hulu Langat, Klang, Shah Alam and Gombak districts.
Consumers who fail to pay their outstanding bills will be given a notice of the supply cut and imposed a charge of RM35 for the cut as well as reconnection charge of RM35 (not including GST), as provided under the Water Services Industry Act 2006 (AIPA 2006).
