Tunku Jalil laid to rest

JOHOR BARU: The Tunku Laksamana Johor, Tunku Abdul Jalil Sultan Ibrahim (pix) who passed away yesterday due to cancer, was laid to rest at Mahmoodiah Royal Mausoleum, here, at 3.20pm.
The prince, 25, was interred on the right side of the tomb of his paternal grandfather, Almarhum Sultan Iskandar Almarhum Sultan Ismail, who passed away on Jan 22, 2010, on the request made by Tunku Abdul Jalil before.
He passed away at 7.11pm yesterday at Sultanah Aminah Hospital.
Tunku Abdul Jalil was the fourth of six children of the Sultan of Johor Sultan Ibrahim Almarhum Sultan Iskandar and Permaisuri Johor Raja Zarith Sofiah Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah. — Bernama
