MACC investigates 'Datuk Seri' from Tourism Ministry (Updated)

PETALING JAYA: Four Tourism Malaysia officials have been called in for questioning by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in a probe involving a top official in the agency's advertising division.
The aforementioned official is said to hold a "Datuk Seri" title and is being investigated by the commission for abuse of power.
He is alleged to have purchased flight tickets for a job allegedly given by the agency to a company belonging to his family member.
When contacted, MACC investigations division director Datuk Azam Baki confirmed the investigation.
The amount involved in the case is said to be more than RM100,000.
