Missing pastor reward upped to RM100,000
PETALING JAYA: The family of missing pastor Raymond Koh Jeng Joo has increased the reward to RM100,000 for his safe return.
The family had initially offered RM10,000 but with donations from concerned members of the public the reward was increased 10-fold yesterday.
His wife Susanna Liew Sow Yoke, 61, thanked the public for their generous donations to help locate him and the family was also grateful and touched by the people's concern.
"We hope that this will help in efforts to find my husband and return him to us safe and sound," she said.
She said the identify of the informers will be kept secret and there will be no restrictions to the eligibility for the reward.
"A panel will decide how the full reward will be divided according to the accuracy and usefulness of the information provided," she said, adding that the family had set up a dedicated number 011-397326790 to get a much needed breakthrough.
Koh was abducted on Feb 13 around 10.30am as he was driving along Jalan SS4B/10, Petaling Jaya.
Koh has been involved in many church charity and community work with a group called Harapan Komuniti, which he founded more than 10 years ago.
His Harapan Komuniti holds free tuition classes for children and English lessons for adults.
Liew said police investigations have not yielded any significant leads, whether the identity of the abductors or their accomplices.
She added that there was also no information in regards to the SUVs that were used or the location of the car Koh was driving.
