KUALA LUMPUR: Pakatan Harapan (PH) de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has arrived at the Istana Negara at 11.50am today, where he is expected to be given a royal pardon.
He arrived with PH president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, who is also his wife, and PKR deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali.
The Pardons Board is expected to finalise Anwar's pardon and release today.
Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad earlier arrived at the Istana Negara around 11am where he was to meet the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Muhammad V.
Media personnel, who have been gathering in front of Gate 2 of the Istana Negara, were however disappointed as all the VIPs entered through the main gate, which is off limits to the press.
