Comedian Accapan dies from kidney failure

PETALING JAYA: Comedian Samynathan Rethiman (pix) fondly known as Accapan died this morning from kidney failure.
He was 63.
A statement released by the Association of Malaysian Artistes (Seniman) secretary Hafiz Nafiah said Accapan died at his home early this morning at 2.43am
This was confirmed by Accapan's youngest daughter Yhuveneshwary Samynathan.
"Those who wish to pay their last respects may do so at his home at 12A Jalan PU 3/2A, Taman Puchong Utama 47140 at 3pm today," Hafiz added.
He leaves behind his wife Yogeswari Subramaniam 53 and three children Vikneshwaran Samynathan, 31, Dhineshwaran Samynathan, 28 and Yhuveneshwary, 24.
Accapan was popular in the local scene in the 80s and 90s and was famous for his role in the sitcom Pi Mai Pi Mai Tang Tu.
