Only three flood victims remained in Penampang relief centre

PENAMPANG: Only three flood victims are still housed at the temporary relief centre (PPS) in Penampang Cultural Centre in Penampang district as at 4pm compared to 36 people from 12 families this morning.
According to a statement from the Sabah State Disaster Management Committee, the other victims had moved out to stay with their relatives.
Meanwhile, areas still affected by the floods were Kampung (Kg) Putatan Inobong, Kg Tanaki, Kg Kolopis, Kg Tuavon, Kg Inobong Putaton Bandasan, Kg Penampang Proper, Kg Dabak, Kg Kasigui, Kg Babah, Kg Sugud, Kg Kibabaig, Kg Babagon, Pekan Pinpah Kondis and Kg Nambazan.
Apart from Penampang district, several other areas in the districts of Kota Kinabalu, Tuaran, Papar, Putatan and Kota Belud were also affected by the floods following heavy rain since yesterday. — Bernama
