PETALING JAYA: Petron Malaysia Refining & Marketing Bhd’s share price rose 3.15% this morning as oil refining supply is affected in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey in the United States.
As at 11.38am, Petron was the third top gainer on Bursa Securities. Its share price stood at RM9.16 with 317,400 million shares changing hands.
The impact of the tropical storm, which continues to affect areas across Texas and neighbouring Louisiana in the US, is seen as a “temporary boon” for Asian refiners and petrochemical makers.
