Police aide-de-camp to ex-PM, ex-DPM transferred

KUALA LUMPUR: The police aide-de-camp (ADC) of former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak and former deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi were re-assigned to other police departments in a reshuffle today.
Also transferred was Ahmad Zahid's director of operations cum policing adviser Commissioner Datuk Zamri Yahya who was moved to the Inspector-General of Police secretariat (research and development).
Najib's ADC DCP Datuk Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri was transferred to the federal internal security and public order department as its secretariat head.
ACP Mohd Nasaruddin M. Nasir who was Ahmad Zahid's ADC was transferred to a special tactical unit of the the same department as Mohd Yusri.
Others named in the reshuffle was Sabah deputy commissioner of police DCP Datuk Razarudin Husain @ Abd Rasid who will assume the post of deputy police chief of Perak.
Current Perak deputy police chief Datuk Omar Mammah takes over as Sabah deputy commissioner of police.
Federal police corporate communications department head SAC Datuk Asmawati Ahmad said today the transfers takes effect on Friday.
