BESUT: Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Jabi here will be turned into a sports schools if Barisan Nasional (BN) is still given the mandate to administer Terengganu after the 14th general election (GE14), said Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman.
The move, he said, would be in tandem with the location of a mini-sports complex project already planned nearby, where construction of the project would begin next month.
A proposal to turn SK Jabi into a sports school would be submitted to the Youth and Sports Ministry, he said when met at a Leader With The People programme near here today.
At the event, Ahmad Razif also did the ground-breaking for the mini-sports complex project, costing about RM9 million in an area covering 2.025ha. — Bernama
