PETALING JAYA: Dewan Negara President Tan Sri S A Vigneswaran on Saturday held a Deepavali open house in Shah Alam with over 3,000 people attending the celebration.
Also at the function were foreign diplomats as well as Datin Seri Indrani Samy Vellu, the wife of former MIC President Tun S Samy Vellu.
Deputy Dewan Negara Speaker Datuk Seri Abdul Halim Abdul Samad, Majlis Senate Malaysia Senator Datuk Seri Khairudin E.S. Abd Samad, Deputy Youth and Sports Minister Datuk M Saravanan and MIC vice presidents Datuk T. Mohan and Senator Datuk Jaspal Singh were also present.
