Proton has launched the all-new Proton X50 in Brunei, continuing its plan to grow sales outside Malaysia after a strong 2025.This launch is an important step for Proton’s export business, and Brunei becomes the first overseas market to receive the new X50.Brunei is one of Proton’s key export markets, and the X50 has been one of its best-selling models there. Last year, Proton exported 6,000 vehicles, with the X50 making up 29 per cent of total export sales. In Brunei alone, the X50 accounted for 38 per cent of Proton’s sales, showing how popular the SUV is in the country.
