Lelaki maut dalam kemalangan babit tiga kenderaan di lebuh raya

KLUANG: Seorang lelaki maut dalam kemalangan melibatkan tiga kenderaan di Kilometer 69.5 Lebuh Raya Utara-Selatan arah Utara berhampiran Machap, di sini pagi tadi.

Komander Operasi, Pegawai Bomba Kanan I KUP Abd Rahim Razali berkata Muhammad Adib Adnan, 33, yang menunggang motosikal disahkan meninggal dunia di lokasi kejadian oleh pasukan perubatan Kementerian Kesihatan.

Beliau berkata pihaknya menerima laporan berkaitan kemalangan membabitkan sebuah treler jenis Volvo 40 tan, kereta Honda Civic dan motosikal Yamaha MT09 itu kira-kira pukul 7.43 pagi.

“Mayat Muhammad Adib kemudiannya telah diserahkan kepada pihak polis untuk tindakan lanjut manakala dua lelaki berusia 25 dan 26 tahun yang menaiki kereta Honda Civic pula mengalami kecederaan.

“Seorang daripada mereka tersepit di tempat duduk pemandu dan terpaksa dikeluarkan menggunakan peralatan khas oleh PKO Renggam dan seorang lagi telah dihantar ke hospital oleh orang awam,” katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.

Abd Rahim bagaimanapun berkata pemandu treler yang berusia 40 tahun itu dilaporkan selamat tanpa sebarang kecederaan.

Beliau berkata operasi menyelamat itu melibatkan dua jentera bomba jenis Fire Rescue Tender serta dibantu PKO Balai Bomba dan Penyelamat Ayer Hitam dengan kekuatan 12 anggota yang tamat sepenuhnya pada 9.11 pagi.

Sementara itu, Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia (LLM) dalam hantaran menerusi laman sosial X memaklumkan semua lorong arah Utara terhalang dan trafik terhenti empat kilometer serta menyarankan pengguna jalan raya agar menggunakan laluan alternatif, di samping berhati-hati dalam perjalanan masing-masing.
