Mayat Mohamad Fayyad Affan ditemui dalam sungai

BALING: Kehilangan seorang kanak-kanak lelaki Mohamad Fayyad Affan Mohd Fakhri, 4, sejak Jumaat lepas berakhir dengan penemuan mayatnya di dalam Sungai Ketil di sini pada 3.15 petang tadi.

Ketua Polis Daerah Baling Supt. Azmi Mokhtar berkata mayat kanak-kanak yang mengalami masalah autisme itu ditemukan kira-kira 500 meter dari tempat dia dipercayai terjatuh.

“Mayat mangsa ditemui oleh anggota keluarga yang membuat carian di tebing sungai berkenaan. Mayat dibawa ke Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah (HSB) Alor Setar untuk proses bedah siasat yang dijadual akan dilaksanakan esok,“ katanya ketika dihubungi Bernama, hari ini.

Sementara itu, Ketua Balai Bomba dan Penyelamat (BBP) Baling Penolong Penguasa Bomba Zulkhairi Mat Tanjil berkata pihaknya menerima panggilan memaklumkan mengenai penemuan mayat kanak-kanak terbabit pada 3.30 petang tadi.

“Anggota ditugaskan ke lokasi telah mengangkat dan membawa mangsa ke darat. Mangsa telah disahkan meninggal dunia dan diserahkan kepada polis untuk tindakan lanjut.

“Operasi tamat sepenuhnya pada pukul 4.52 petang tadi,“ katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.

Katanya pasukan bomba turut membuat pencarian dan pemantauan sejak pagi tadi hingga tengah hari di kawasan sekitar namun tidak menemui mangsa.

“Kira-kira lapan individu termasuk bapa saudara serta waris mangsa menyambung pencarian dan menemui mayat mangsa di dalam sungai,“ katanya.

Mohamad Fayyad Affan dilaporkan hilang pada Jumaat setelah keluar dari rumahnya di Kuarters JPS Kampung Landak Paya, Kupang dekat sini, kira-kira 2.30 petang.

Difahamkan, menerusi rakaman kamera litar tertutup (CCTV), mangsa dilihat berjalan keluar dari kawasan rumahnya dan menghala ke jalan kampung.
