Menara KL ditutup buat sementara waktu bermula hari ini

KUALA LUMPUR: Bangunan Menara Kuala Lumpur akan ditutup buat sementara waktu bermula esok untuk memberi ruang kepada pengurusan baharu melakukan kerja-kerja penyelenggaraan serta penambahbaikan demi keselamatan dan keselesaan pengunjung.

Kementerian Komunikasi dalam kenyataan malam ini memaklumkan tarikh pembukaan semula menara komunikasi antara yang tertinggi di dunia itu akan dimaklumkan melalui pelbagai saluran media.

“Kerajaan MADANI menerusi Kementerian Komunikasi menegaskan bahawa Menara Kuala Lumpur ialah milik kerajaan.

“Bermula 1 April 2025, pengoperasian, pengurusan dan penyelenggaraan Menara Kuala Lumpur telah diambil alih oleh syarikat LSH Service Master Sdn Bhd (LSHSM),” menurut kenyataan itu.

Menurut kenyataan itu, pendudukan syarikat Menara Kuala Lumpur Sdn Bhd (MKLSB) di atas tapak Menara KL selepas 31 Mac 2025 adalah tidak sah.

Sehubungan itu, Pesuruhjaya Tanah Persekutuan telah mengemukakan dua notis pengosongan kepada pihak MKLSB melalui surat bertarikh 3 dan 9 April 2025.

“Oleh itu, sebarang pengoperasian dan urus niaga yang masih dijalankan oleh MKLSB hingga kini adalah tanpa kebenaran kerajaan,”menurut kenyataan itu.

Pada 31 Mac lepas, Kementerian Komunikasi menerusi soalan lazim (FAQ) mengenai konsesi pengurusan Menara KL memaklumkan pengambilalihan konsesi melibatkan Menara KL tidak akan menjejaskan operasi dan pekerja di menara komunikasi itu.

Kementerian itu dilapor memaklumkan rundingan bersama syarikat konsesi baharu LSHSM telah menggariskan terma-terma yang tidak menjejaskan operasinya, yang akan berjalan seperti biasa.
