OPS Tiris: KPDN Sarawak catat 119 kes, nilai rampasan lebih RM20 juta

KUCHING: Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri dan Kos Sara Hidup (KPDN) Sarawak mencatatkan 119 kes yang melibatkan nilai rampasan sejumlah RM21.5 juta sejak pelaksanaan Ops Tiris 3.0 dari 1 Jan hingga 20 Nov lepas.

Timbalan Menteri berkenaan Fuziah Salleh berkata jumlah kesalahan tertinggi yang dikenal pasti di negeri ini melibatkan kegiatan penyelewengan diesel serta penyeludupan minyak masak bersubsidi, khususnya di pintu sempadan negara.

“Di negeri-negeri seperti Sarawak yang mempunyai banyak pintu sempadan negara, ini menjadi tugas mencabar bagi pihak berkuasa KPDN serta agensi lain yang terlibat dalam penguatkuasaan.

“Kalau dilihat jumlah kes dan nilai rampasan di Sarawak ini agak besar berbanding angka keseluruhan iaitu 2,511 kes dengan RM86.93 juta nilai rampasan bagi seluruh negara,” katanya dalam sidang media selepas mengadakan lawatan kerja sempena program Kita Gempur di sebuah pasar raya di sini hari ini.

Fuziah berkata orang awam dinasihatkan untuk menyalurkan sebarang maklumat atau aduan kepada KPDN berhubung aktiviti penyelewengan, ketirisan dan kartel barang kawalan serta bersubsidi di lapangan.

Inisiatif Kita Gempur ialah langkah strategik kerajaan untuk membina gerakan massa bagi menangani isu manipulasi dalam aktiviti perniagaan dan ketirisan yang melibatkan barang kawalan serta barang kawalan bersubsidi.

Kita Gempur dilancarkan oleh Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim pada Oktober lepas dalam usaha menangani ketirisan di samping memastikan subsidi sampai kepada golongan sasar.
