Zamir, Hazrul gagal mara ke final 100m Deaflympics 2025

Atlet negara Muhammad Zamir Azman dan Hazrul Shah Hamri tersingkir di separuh akhir acara 100m Deaflympics 2025 di Tokyo akibat cuaca sejuk.

TOKYO: Dua atlet negara gagal mara ke pusingan akhir acara 100 meter lelaki Deaflympics 2025 di Stadium Komazawa Metropolitan hari ini.

Muhammad Zamir Azman menamatkan larian di tempat terbawah saringan 3 dengan catatan masa 11.47 saat.

Rakan sepasukannya Hazrul Shah Hamri turut menduduki tangga terakhir dalam saringan 1 dengan masa 11.73 saat.

Muhammad Zamir menyatakan persiapannya dari segi fizikal dan mental sudah mencukupi sebelum bertanding.

“Cuaca hari ini sangat sejuk berbanding semalam, luar biasa sampai sedut udara pun rasa sakit,” katanya menerusi jurubahasa isyarat.

Beliau berpuas hati dengan prestasinya dan berharap dapat mengurangkan masa untuk acara 200 meter seterusnya.

Mengenai insiden false start pelari di lorong berdekatan, Muhammad Zamir mengakui terkejut dan pada awalnya menyangka dialah yang dikenakan kad kuning.

Hazrul Shah pula berkata beliau telah memberikan 100 peratus tenaga dalam perlumbaan tersebut.

“Kami biasa berlatih dalam cuaca panas, jadi cabaran kali ini berbeza,” katanya.

Beliau mengalami sakit sendi akibat cuaca terlalu sejuk dan berharap persiapan untuk acara seterusnya lebih baik.

Hanya dua pelari teratas setiap saringan dan dua masa terpantas berikutnya layak ke final acara 100 meter.

Sasaki Takuma dari Jepun dan Gong Hyeokjun dari Korea Selatan mara dari saringan 1.

Visnap Tanel dari Estonia dan Andrade Mosquera Gian Marco dari Colombia layak dari saringan 3.

Muhammad Zamir, Hazrul Shah dan Muhammad Zumar Azman akan bertanding dalam acara 200 meter bermula Jumaat ini. – Bernama
