PETALING JAYA: Perdana Petroleum Bhd has secured four contracts from its major shareholder Dayang Enterprise Holdings Bhd with a total value of RM50.1 million.
Perdana Petroleum told the stock exchange that its wholly owned subsidiary Perdana Nautika Sdn Bhd had entered into four time charter contracts with Dayang Enterprise’s wholly owned subsidiary Dayang Enterprise Sdn Bhd to charter two units of accommodation workbarge and two units of anchor handling tug & supply vessels.
The vessels charter is expected to commence from Feb 1, 2020 and the extension period will subject to the mutual agreement between both parties.
“The vessels charter is anticipated to contribute positively to the earnings of the group,“ said Perdana Petroluem.
The vessels charter is a recurrent related party transaction which the company has obtained a mandate from the company’s shareholders at its AGM held on May 21, 2019 for RM120.0 million.
