Dakwaan doktor dipukul tidak boleh dipandang ringan – Dzulkefly

TUMPAT: Dakwaan doktor dipukul penolong pegawai perubatan di sebuah hospital di Perak tidak boleh dipandang ringan dan siasatan secara menyeluruh sedang dibuat, kata Menteri Kesihatan Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad.

“Kes berkenaan masih dalam siasatan pihak polis dan KKM (Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia) akan membuat keputusan selepas segala proses siasatan selesai.

“Berkaitan kes ini juga, KKM menubuhkan panel siasatan bebas yang dipimpin oleh Tan Sri Borhan Dollah (bekas Ketua Pengarah Perkhidmatan Awam),“ katanya dalam sidang media selepas mengadakan lawatan kerja ke pusat pemindahan sementara di Maktab Rendah Sains Mara Tumpat di sini hari ini.

Dzulkefly berkata semua pihak diminta tidak membuat sebarang spekulasi yang boleh menjejaskan siasatan.

Semalam, Jabatan Kesihatan Perak telah mengeluarkan surat teguran kepada seorang pegawai perubatan yang didakwa memukul seorang doktor dalam kejadian di sebuah hospital di Perak pada Jun lepas.

Pengarah Kesihatan Perak Dr Feisul Idzwan Mustapha dilapor berkata surat berkenaan telah dihantar kepada pegawai terbabit pada 31 Julai lepas selepas satu siasatan dalaman dijalankan.

Sementara itu, diminta mengulas mengenai isu pakaian seragam jururawat yang didakwa tidak berkualiti, Dzulkefly berkata KKM masih menunggu laporan terperinci berkaitan isu berkenaan.

Beliau berkata siasatan berhubung kes itu sedang disiasat dan KKM masih menunggu hasil dapatan laporan.

“Saya minta beri masa kepada KKM untuk mendapatkan respons berhubung perkara ini dan KKM tidak boleh mengambil tindakan kerana belum ada keputusan,“ katanya.

Pada 23 Okt lepas, Kesatuan Jururawat Malaya dilaporkan menerima maklum balas mengenai kain yang dibekalkan untuk pakaian seragam jururawat sedikit keras serta tidak selesa dipakai ketika bekerja.
