JKDM Sarawak rampas ekstasi disorok dalam bekas vitamin

KUCHING: Jabatan Kastam Diraja Malaysia (JKDM) Sarawak berjaya menumpaskan cubaan penyeludupan dadah jenis pil ekstasi bernilai hampir RM1 juta yang disorok dalam bekas menyerupai produk makanan tambahan.

Pengarah Kastam Negeri Sarawak Norizan Yahya berkata, rampasan dilakukan di sebuah syarikat kurier di Sibu pada 20 Jun lepas selepas tiga hari risikan dan intipan. “Tiada pihak tampil menuntut bungkusan berkenaan.

Pemeriksaan menemukan 12 bekas plastik berlabel ‘Vitamin C 1000 tablets’ mengandungi pil ekstasi berbentuk watak animasi Doraemon,“ katanya.

Dadah seberat 5.23 kilogram itu dianggarkan bernilai RM1,002,000 dan diseludup menggunakan perkhidmatan kurier udara dari Semenanjung Malaysia ke Sarawak. Kes disiasat di bawah Seksyen 39B Akta Dadah Berbahaya 1952. – Bernama
