Trump umum tarif 19% ke atas eksport Indonesia ke AS

NEW YORK: Presiden Amerika Syarikat (AS) Donald Trump pada Selasa mengumumkan bahawa Indonesia akan dikenakan tarif sebanyak 19 peratus ke atas semua barangan dieksport ke AS, manakala eksport AS ke Indonesia akan bebas daripada halangan tarif dan bukan tarif, lapor Xinhua.

Trump berkata di platform Truth Social bahawa beliau telah “memuktamadkan satu Perjanjian penting dengan Republik Indonesia selepas berbincang dengan Presiden Prabowo Subianto. Perjanjian bersejarah ini membuka akses penuh pasaran Indonesia untuk AS buat pertama kali dalam sejarah.”

Sebagai sebahagian daripada perjanjian itu, Indonesia turut bersetuju untuk membeli produk tenaga bernilai US$15 bilion dan produk pertanian bernilai US$4.5 bilion daripada pasaran AS, selain 50 pesawat Boeing, katanya.

“Buat pertama kali, para penternak, petani dan nelayan kita akan mempunyai Akses Penuh dan Menyeluruh ke pasaran Indonesia yang mempunyai lebih 280 juta penduduk,“ tulisnya.

Sebelum berlepas ke Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania pada Selasa, Trump memberitahu wartawan di Rumah Putih bahawa “seperti yang anda tahu, Indonesia merupakan pengeluar utama kuprum, dan kini kita mempunyai akses penuh kepada segala hasil buminya.” Beliau turut menyatakan bahawa Indonesia kaya dengan nadir bumi serta pelbagai sumber mineral lain.

Trump turut mendedahkan bahawa beberapa lagi perjanjian akan diumumkan. “India pada dasarnya sedang mengikut landasan yang sama. Kita akan mendapat akses ke India,“ katanya. – Bernama, Xinhua
