A Malaysian woman has taken to Threads to praise a kind-hearted Grab driver for going out of his way to return her father’s phone.
According to the post, her father had unknowingly left his mobile phone in the Grab vehicle.
By the time the driver realised it, he had already travelled some distance away.
Instead of ignoring the situation or leaving it to customer service, the driver — identified as Mr Yoo, who is deaf — personally delivered the phone back to the family’s home.
The grateful family shared their appreciation online, thanking the driver for his honesty and kindness.
“Thank you to this Grab driver, Mr Yoo,” the post read.
“My father’s phone was left in his car. He had already gone quite far before realising it was there, but he still returned it to our house.”
The post quickly touched the hearts of many, with netizens praising the driver for his integrity and kindness.
