Netizens raise food safety concerns after images allegedly show exposed raw meat on a bakery kitchen floor in a Kuala Lumpur mall.

A Malaysian has recently alleged that a well-known bakery committed a food safety violation after noticing a box of exposed raw meat placed on the ground.

The bakery, which was recently trending online following its launch, is said to be located in a Kuala Lumpur shopping mall.

In a post on Threads, an image attached showed a torn cardboard box containing the raw red meat wrapped in a blue plastic bag, which also appeared to be open.

The box was reportedly placed on the floor of what is believed to be the bakery’s kitchen area.

In the comments section of the post, another netizen claimed to have witnessed a similar issue at the same bakery, alleging that a tray of what appeared to be cooked meat was placed near the kitchen floor, adjacent to a mop.

An image attached to the comment showed the tray positioned on top of several sacks, close to a mop and a bucket containing what appeared to be murky water.

Netizens expressed shock over the images and called for the bakery to be reported to the relevant authorities over the alleged food hygiene violations.
