Two dozen saree-clad women and a few men dressed in veshtis took part in the Perma Saree Veshti Walkathon at the Lake Gardens in Kuala Lumpur. The event was held to raise funds for Perma, an NGO which provides support for the elderly, underprivileged and physically challenged. AMIRUL SYAFIQ THESUN
