KUALA LUMPUR: Various activities and services will be offered by the relevant ministries and agencies to visitors in conjunction with the ‘One Year with the MADANI Government’ programme in the compound of the Bukit Jalil National Stadium from this Dec 8 to 10.

Director of the Strategic Planning Section, Performance Acceleration and Coordination Unit (PACU) at the Prime Minister’s Office, Syarina Kassim (pix) said visitors would have the opportunity to get free dental check-ups and treatment from the Health Ministry (MOH).

Also available will be reproductive cancer and mammogram screening by the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development, she added.

She said there will also be services offered by the National Registration Department and the Road Transport Department.

“For those looking for jobs, there is a career carnival and so far, 70 companies have expressed their willingness to participate in the programme,” she said in an interview with Bernama Radio at Wisma Bernama here today.

According to Syarina, there will also be booths to cater for children, like e-sports and football games, as well as the screening of the film Malbatt: Misi Bakara.

She said an exhibition to display the various government assets would also be held, involving the participation of the Ministry of Defence, the Civil Defence Force and the Fire and Rescue Department.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who is scheduled to attend the closing ceremony on Dec 10, will also hold a dialogue with visitors.

This is an opportunity for the people to interact with him in a more relaxed atmosphere,” she added.

In addition to the sale of products by local entrepreneurs, she said, there would also be lucky draws offering attractive prizes, with the main prize a house.
