IPOH: A man who was feared to have gone missing after he failed to return home from a fishing outing near Jalan Kuala Parit, Kampung Pasir Jenderis, Kampung Gajah yesterday was found drowned.
Perak Fire and Rescue Department operations division assistant director Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad said the body of Mohd Asrul Aafendy Shazali, 36, who suffers from seizures, was discovered at 10.57am today.
“A passerby found the victim’s body on the bridge some 2.3 kilometres from where he was last seen,“ he said in a statement here today.
He said the body has been handed over to the police for further action and the operation involving 47 personnel from various agencies including the public, ended at 11.20am.-Bernama
