PUTRAJAYA: Fifty students from 24 schools in Putrajaya received stationaries and cash vouchers as part of the Back to School Initiative supported by Pertubuhan Warga Prihatin Putrajaya under the Ministry of Education.

This is an initiative aimed at providing a perfect education experience mainly to students of the B40 category.

Deputy Education Minister Teo Nie Ching who was present said that the main purpose of the program is to ease the burden faced by parents of the students before the start of school next year.

In addition to expressing appreciation to Pertubuhan Warga Prihatin Putrajaya on their support, Teo stressed that students under the B40 category must be helped so that equal experience is gained.

“Indeed, close cooperation between government and non-governmental bodies is important in ensuring the ultimate goal of helping those in need,“ she said.
